Competition Day Schedule

Approximate schedule of events (times may change):

10:30am – 11:00am Sign-in and same-day registration (MERF Atrium)

11:00am – 12:30pm Tours of neuroscience research facilities at the University of Iowa

12:30pm – 1:30pm Lunch (MERF Atrium)

1:30pm Iowa Brain Bee – Round I (MERF, Prem Sahai Auditorium)

2:30pm Iowa Brain Bee – Round II (MERF, Prem Sahai Auditorium)

~3:30pm Awards (MERF, Prem Sahai Auditorium)

Note: Participants wishing to be present for the Iowa Brain Bee must be on-site and signed-in by 1:00pm.

Where to park

Parking is available across the street at the Newton Road Parking Ramp. Please note that this is a parking ramp with an hourly fee. We may not be able to validate parking or provide parking passes.

Buses may drop off students at the bus stop just outside the Medical Education Research Facility (MERF) but will not be able to park in the Newton Road Parking Ramp.
